Education (BSc)
Our BSc Education is designed for students who have an interest in education and who are looking for the opportunity to pursue this interest in a broad social science context.
Your study will be informed by our research in education and the latest developments in policy and practice, encompassing aspects of culture and identity, childhood and youth, gender and ethnicity, and social justice and inclusion.
Core modules are aimed at developing a deep understanding of the social, historical, political, economic and developmental contexts of education – in Wales, the UK and internationally.
Having a broad understanding of education provides you with an essential basis for challenging many of our common sense beliefs about education and society. This approach will enable you to play a role in helping to transform and improve how we think about and practice education.

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai uiversitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

In 2015/16, the ‘Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education’ survey showed that 96% of School of Social Science graduates who were available for work reported they were in employment and/or further study within six months of graduation. Popular employments sectors included: administrative work, education, social work, retail, finance, and other professional sectors.
We encourage our students to think about life beyond University from day one, offering modules and support to give you a competitive advantage on graduating. Turning theory into practical application and providing experience of the working world are important aspects of all our degree schemes and help prepare our graduates for life after higher education.
Many of our BSc Education graduates follow up their time here with a one-year teacher training (PGCE) course that enables them to enter the teaching professions, while others go into a range of professions from youth and community work to social policy and government, management and others.
