From the Olympian gunning for gold to those who are simply seeking to balance their diet and find the right foods to match their lifestyle, the scientific study of nutrition is a critical component of the contemporary health and well-being agenda.
At Worcester, this broad programme will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the discipline, from farm to food, and from mouth to metabolism. The course bases theoretical insights firmly in the real world, exploring key issues such as the effects of inadequate food supply, how our nutritional requirements change with age, the political perspectives of nutrition and efforts to improve nutrition in our schools and hospitals.
