  • Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

Dėmesio!Konkrečius programos stojimo reikalavimus gali rasti programos aprašyme universiteto tinklapyje. Spausk šiek tiek aukščiau esantį mygtuką Oficiali svetainė, tuomet dešinėje pusėje esančoje meniu juostoje pasirink skiltį Entry requirements ir po Entry Criteria 2017/18 sąrašu esančiame International and EU Entry Requirements pasirink Lithuania. Tuomet pamatysi stojimo reikalavimus.

Pavyzdys.: Jeigu stojimo reikalavimuose parašyta: Average of Grade 9 and 90% in State Examinations in subjects if they are specified in GCE A-level entry requirements. You can find the GCE A-level entry subjects above. If no subjects are specified at GCE A-level then required State exams can be in any subjects.

Employability

To obtain the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society is a prerequisite for many BPS accredited postgraduate training courses. It is also required for entry to all accredited Stage 2 and Doctoral programmes as part of the route to becoming a Chartered Psychologist – be it in Sport and Exercise or otherwise.

Brunel graduates develop a range of transferable skills that are useful in the wider workplace, including the ability to:

  • Communicate effectively – verbally and in writing
  • Understand, analyse and use complex data
  • Retrieve and organise information from different sources
  • Handle primary source material critically
  • Engage in effective team work
  • Solve problems and reason scientifically to consider alternative approaches and solutions
  • Make critical judgements and evaluations to gain different perspectives on a question
  • Use personal planning and project management skills to become more independent and pragmatic

Careers

This is a new programme and will produce its first graduates in July 2020 – just before the Tokyo Olympics. Graduates of our existing Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences programmes are currently undertaking PhD research in related subjects, lecturing in UK universities, working as consultants in elite sport (e.g., English Premier League football, Lawn Tennis), heading up national sport psychology services (e.g., for the English Institute of Sport), driving sport development at grassroots level (e.g., local authorities) and helping to deliver corporate healthcare solutions (e.g., for Nuffield Health).

Our Psychology graduates are valued by many employers, not least because of the critical thinking and analytical skills they possess. Additionally, with a good degree in Psychology – we also recommend suitable experience – you may go on to train as a clinical, educational, occupational or forensic psychologist.

Other careers include work with adults or children with disabilities, counselling, personnel management, market research and advertising, prison and probation work, speech and language therapy and psychological research.

Work Placements

This course is also available as a four year sandwich course (with Professional Development), which includes two high-quality placements in a variety of settings, including the public sector and research environments.

The positive impact of a sandwich placement on graduate employment outcomes across Brunel is considerable. Those who have undertaken placements are also much more likely to be in employment for which their degree was a formal requirement or where their degree gave them a competitive advantage during the recruitment process.

At Brunel we provide many opportunities and experiences within your degree programme and beyond – work-based learning, professional support services, volunteering, mentoring, sports, arts, clubs, societies, and much, much more – and we encourage you to make the most of them, so that you can make the most of yourself.
