This MMath Mathematics and Physics degree aims to provide a broad education in mathematics, including pure and applied mathematics, allowing you to prepare for a range of career options as well as combining this with fundamental and applied physics. Along with problem-solving skills and computational training, this degree aims to provide you with a well-rounded experience.

The degree places a strong emphasis on industrial and business applications, aiming to provide a real-world context to your studies and develop broader, transferable skills that are greatly valued by employers.

The four-year MMath course is designed for those seeking to develop advanced mathematical skills. The first three years are common with the BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Physics degree, while the fourth year offers the opportunity to study more advanced topics in greater depth. This year also includes a significant industrial or academic project.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Stojant šį universitetą dėmesys yra kreipiamas į pažymius ir Brandos atestato vidurkį, kuris turi būti ne žemesnis kaip 7  ir 3 valstybiniai egzaminai išlaikyti ne mažiau 70% arba vidurkis ne žemesnis kaip 8 ir 3 valstybiniai egzaminai išlaikyti ne mažiau 75%.

  • Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą. Smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą ir kada jis reikalingas, rasi čia.*

  • Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • IELTS - 6.0

  • TOEFL – 79

Career prospects for Mathematics and Physics graduates are excellent, both within the field and beyond, as the subject can provide a thorough grounding in analytical and numerical methods, practical scientific and research methods.
