Study Master's Degree in Urban Sustainability
As a global challenge, urbanization and smart city concepts are major development themes. There is a growing need for multidisciplinary approaches in the planning and management of urban environment development processes. This programme invites applicants to work together in dealing with practical challenges on the theme of urban sustainability. The aim of the study programme is to adopt a multidisciplinary knowledge base, as well as development tools, supporting sustainability management.
The programme is based on online teaching and learning. The thesis work is an opportunity to adapt current academic research to practical needs and situations in the sustainable city.
Professional studies concentrate on the co-development of urban environments, environmental challenges and management of change. The student can choose complementary studies provided by other master programmes, or from other Master level courses in other higher education institutes.
Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.
- ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi. ĮSIDĖMĖK, Prie anketos būtinai turi prisegti dokumentą (anglų kalba), patvirtinantį, kad studijuoji ir šiais metais baigsi savo studijas. Dokumentas turi būti patvirtinas universiteto administracijos.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
IELTS – 6.0 (ne mažiau 5.5 iš rašymo dalies)
TOEFL - 80 (ne mažiau 20 iš rašymo dalies)

Entrance examination
The entrance examination contains a written assignment and an interview. The written assignment is a development plan of a working life-based project or issue. The interview is a video recording made by the applicant. In the video, the applicant will answer questions delivered beforehand. The instructions to prepare and submit the assignment and the video recording will be published on LAB UAS website.
