Chemistry with Forensic Science
Chemistry has been taught at Huddersfield for over 140 years. Our courses have been developed to meet the needs of today's employers worldwide, through extensive links with industry, and in particular with about a dozen regional companies.
This course includes a focus on forensic science, simply defined as the application of science to the law. First-year modules provide a foundation across the field of chemistry and a sound base for more advanced study in the later stages. You will develop a capacity for logical reasoning, an imaginative approach to solving problems and a flexibility that allows adaptation to a changing world.
We strongly recommend that you take the option of a placement year in industry. Your tutors will help you find a suitable placement host, which could be a local company, a major UK pharmaceutical business or a research establishment abroad. Many of our graduates are offered full-time jobs by their placement employers.

Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).

Large companies involved with pharmaceuticals, oil, plastics, fertilisers, metals, textiles, glass, paint, cosmetics, printing, and food and drink all employ chemists.
