Electronic Engineering BEng
Electronics lies at the heart of the systems we use daily, from complex communication systems, digital technology and computing to vital manufacturing processes, the production of essential services and in logistics management. The electrical and electronic engineering industry makes a significant contribution to the economy and presents you with lots of career options.
This course is designed to give you a broad-based knowledge of electronic systems, communications and control. You'll be taught by professional engineers with many years' experience in industry, teaching and/or research. You'll study digital, analogue and embedded computer-based systems. Project work on the course provides you with an opportunity to research a specialised area of electronic engineering of your choice.
If you apply for the BEng(Hons) route initially and you attain an overall yearly average grade of 60% or above during your first two years of study, there is a chance for you to transfer onto the integrated Master's MEng route. The MEng route has higher entry requirements at the outset and means you study for an extra year and to gain a deeper understanding of the subject.
This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and meets the educational requirements for registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng). You also have a chance to spend a year on placement in industry and our Placement Unit will support you in finding a placement and while you are away from University.

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).

Additionally, you may gain skills that are transferable to other industries and may be able to pursue any career that requires a good honours degree. You could go on to further study and the University has many options available for postgraduate study and research which may interest you.
