Within a business context, it is now recognised that one of the main ways in which competitive advantage can be gained is through the effective and efficient management of the supply chain - the term used to describe the flow of products or services from their point of origin through to the final point of sale or use. Logistics is essentially an interactive process within the supply chain it seeks to optimise these flows, from both a physical and information standpoint.
This course provides the essential framework, concepts and toolkit required for the strategic management of logistics and the supply chain.
You can:
- Learn through innovative teaching techniques including: cases, simulations and interactive games
- Gain the opportunity to network with experts from industry, exploring real-world expertise
- Get an introduction to the enterprise resource planning software SAP
Your year in Huddersfield will be divided into three terms. For terms one and two you will enjoy a carefully designed program that covers the core theories and knowledge of the Supply Chain Management and Logistics profession. In your final term, you will take the opportunity to lead your own research through a dissertation project.
Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.
ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi.
Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

This programme is aimed primarily at graduates who wish to move into a logistics, operations or supply chain role but whose first degree is in another subject. It is suited to both those who wish to work in the supply chain functions of major manufacturers and retailers, as operations managers and for those seeking a career in the rapidly expanding third party logistics industry that services such organisations. The programme provides an in-depth understanding of logistics, operations and supply chain management and their importance to contemporary businesses, including the need to manage and plan supply chains, in an integrated manner, within an overall business environment. Our aim is that graduates leave the course equipped with the skills and tools they require for a career in this challenging but highly rewarding environment.
