Youth and Community Work
Youth and community work is an exciting yet demanding career. Youth workers encourage the individual, educational and social development of the young people they work with, helping them develop into confident young adults.
This course is endorsed by the National Youth Agency and is suitable if you want to study the many approaches to informal education with young people and adults. You’ll develop the skills, knowledge and values of a youth and community work practitioner. As the course leads to a vocational qualification as well as an Honours degree, you’ll be able to seek employment in a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies and institutions.
You may find a role within the youth offending team, in educational establishments or with social services. Or you may choose to combine your qualification with a hobby or a skill and run arts-based activities, community projects and sporting activities.

Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą. Smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą ir kada jis reikalingas, rasi čia.*
Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).
IELTS - 6.0
TOEFL – 80
Employment prospects are excellent and graduates may find employment in a range of fields including centre-based youth and community work, detached youth work, neighbourhood community work, project work, children's trust, single gender work, health education, youth offending teams, charity work and Connexions.
