During this course, you will learn the core subjects of an Economics degree, including micro- and macroeconomics, with examples and applications for day-to-day life, giving attention to the historical, social, political and international contexts that influence the development of modern economics.

Whether you start as an absolute beginner or with an 'A' level this course will give you the opportunity to develop all your language skills to a very high level, as well as studying a range of cultural and historical contexts. You will have the chance to undertake exciting placements in China, and to gain invaluable knowledge and experience of contemporary China.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Stojant į šį universitetą dėmesys yra kreipiamas į pažymius ir egzaminų rezultatus. Brandos atestato vidurkis turi būti ne žemesnis nei 8 ir valstybinių egzaminų vidurkis ne žemesnis nei 70% (įskaitant dalyko, kuris susijęs su studijų programa, egzaminą).

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai uiversitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • IELTS - 6.0

  • TOEFL – 80

A degree in Chinese develops an impressive range of skills including strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to work autonomously and in groups, analytical and critical discernment and the resilience and confidence developed during placements abroad. Graduates from the Modern Languages Department often pursue further study or careers in translation, teaching, business, hospitality, civil service or in international organisations.

Economics opens opportunities in many areas. Our students have shown particular interest on civil service positions, such as the ones the Government Economic Service offers. But some pursue business careers as entrepreneurs, or go into financial advisor roles. Other opportunities include economic policy analyst, consultancy, investment or data analyst, statistician...
