This course has a strong vocational orientation, which means that you will be taught the practical skills that will specifically qualify you for a career in the field of criminology. Students take on an in-depth study of everything surrounding crime, from the problem of crime and the conditions that generate it, to the means by which it is controlled.

This course will equip you with more than just an understanding of the theory behind criminology. It will engage you in critical research and provide you with the skills to analyse statistics and appreciate the processes behind policy development and administration.
 
Notably, the course is linked to the Vauxhall Centre for the Study of Crime, situated right in the University. This is where world-leading research is conducted into community safety, offending and youth justice. As such, teaching in this course will always be informed by research at the cutting edge of knowledge.

It is linked to the prestigious Vauxhall Centre for the Study of Crime, which means the course will be underpinned by world-leading research and groundbreaking information. Its practical approach to learning ensures that students leave in the best possible position for careers in human services, especially in roles that have a particular emphasis on criminal justice. This course is the ideal preparation for work in youth justice, offending teams, policing, community safety, local government and criminal behaviour research.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Stojant į šį universitetą dėmesys yra kreipiamas į pažymius ir Brandos atestato vidurkį, kuris turi būti ne žemesnis kaip 5 + laikytų brandos egzaminų vidurkis ne mažesis kaip 50%.

  • Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • Anglų kalbos vidurkis 8 B2 lygiu.

  • IELTS - 6.0

  • TOEFL – 80
