Criminology with Police Studies
This course is an exciting opportunity to develop the knowledge and understanding of Criminology whilst having the opportunity to explore issues related to policing in some depth. You will have the opportunity to study a range of subjects as part of your Criminology and Police Studies course including the Criminal Justice System, causes of crime, debates about rehabilitation and punishment, police investigation, community policing and policing sexual exploitation.
Your studies will provide you with a wide range of knowledge and understanding of theories that have informed both the disciplines of Criminology and Police Studies.
Alongside studying key substantive areas of Criminology and Police Studies, you will be able to undertake research related topics. Your course will also provide you with an opportunity to undertake professional work placements that will enhance your future employability.
The combination of modules offered will make your Criminology with Policing Studies degree relevant and useful to you when you enter a variety of careers. It is anticipated that graduates will enter careers in the police, the charity sector, social services, teaching and a variety of roles within the criminal justice system. Postgraduate study might also be pursued.

- Anglų kalbos vidurkis 8 B2 lygiu.
- IELTS - 6.0
Graduates might enter one of the following professions, or use their transferable skills to enter most areas of graduate employment which can include: the police, associated policing professions, education, social work, Youth Offending Teams, research, the charity sector and social services. It is anticipated that some graduates will also enter post-graduate study.
