Work towards Incorporated Engineer status on our Joint Board of Moderators-accredited course. Mix vital theory with hands-on learning as you prepare for a successful career in civil engineering. When you graduate, you can go straight into work or do a top-up year to achieve an honours degree. This course has been validated to include an optional Sandwich Placement year in industry.

Civil engineering means getting out there and making a difference to the world around us. Major projects like roads, buildings, tunnels and flood protection are all designed, constructed and improved by civil engineers.
Here at Anglia Ruskin, you’ll explore the concepts, theories and principles of civil engineering, and its underpinning science and mathematics. But you’ll also develop your practical skills and your competence to work as a professional.
You’ll make full use of our specialist testing and research labs. Learn about structural forms, loading, structural analysis and the behaviour of materials. Apply quantitative methods and relevant computer software.
In preparation for professional practice, you’ll learn to work as part of a design team – and look at issues relating to the law, human resource management, health and safety, ethics and risk. Site visits and guest lecturers will connect you with industry.
We also offer our Constructionarium which is a week-long construction experience.
Our BSc (Hons) course focuses on the practical skills of engineering principles, standards and codes of practice. Our BEng (Hons) course offers more theory and maths.
Our course leads to incorporated engineer (IEng) status. It's accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators acting on behalf of ICE, IstructE, IHT and IHIE for the Engineering Council UK.

! Jeigu nori studijuoti šiame universitete, tačiau neatitinki studijų programos stojimo reikalavimų arba bijai, kad jų neatitiksi, SPAUSK ČIA ir sužinok, kaip gali įstoti į šį universitetą paprastesnėmis sąlygomis!
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikyti 75 % ir daugiau.

Civil engineers tend to specialise in two areas – design and production. This course will prepare you for both:
- Design civil engineers work mainly in offices, looking at the need for projects and how a particular project can be achieved.
- Production civil engineers work and plan on-site, check the quality of work, and oversee schedules and budgets.
Graduation doesn’t have to be the end of your time with us. If you’d like to continue your studies, we offer a wide range of full-time and part-time postgraduate courses including MSc Civil Engineering.
