International Business Administration
Together with students from all over the world, you learn how to become an international business professional who knows what it takes to thrive in the global market. The core of the program International Business Administration focuses on all functional aspects of business and integrates socially orientated courses. Through lectures and team work, you will gain all the necessary professional and practical skills to prepare you for a managerial career in an international environment.
International Business Administration mirrors the growing internationalization of business. The program focuses on all aspects of running a large, global organization, as well as its relationship to the outside world. After the foundational phase, you can specialize in the topics of your choice.
- During the first year you will lay a broad foundation in the core subjects of international management, marketing, finance, and accounting. You will learn to apply your knowledge in the course 'Projectmanagement IBA'. Besides business courses, you will develop your mathematical skills, your academic communication skills and you will learn the basics of programming.
- In the second year you will deepen your knowledge in the core subjects. In addition, you will broaden your knowledge by studying a wider range of business subjects in courses like Human Resource Management and Comparative & Cross-Cultural Management. And you will have the course Philosophy of Science.
- In the third year you can specialize in one of the core subjects by choosing electives. You can also choose to follow a semester abroad and follow electives there. Or you can choose to gain business experience by doing an internship. You complete your Bachelor's degree by writing your thesis on one of the four core business topics: management, marketing, finance, or accounting.
The core of the program is formed by business-related courses in international management, marketing, finance and accounting. You will also take socially oriented courses, and learn the principles of good research. Through lectures and teamwork, you will acquire (academic) communication, planning, programming and quantitive skills.

- Motyvacinis laiškas yra privalomas dokumentas stojant į šio universiteto programas.
- CV - stojant į visas bakalauro programas reikia pateikti savo CV.
- Vienas iš stojimo etapų į Tilburg University yra Matching/Selection procedure (reikės atlikti arba papildomas užduotis, arba pateikti papildomus dokumentus arba sudalyvauti interviu).
SVARBU: anglų kalbos testo sertifikatą privaloma pateikti kartu su visais dokumentais, atsiunčiant anketą. Universitetas nesvarsto stojimo anketų be anglų kalbos testo rezultatų, todėl sertifikatą privaloma pateikti iki stojimo pabaigos. Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
- IELTS – 6.0, iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau nei 5.5
- TOEFL – 80
- A good knowledge of mathematics is important for being successful in this Bachelor’s program.
- Need to pass State Examination Mathematics.
- Specialus motyvacinis laiškas - gaires ir klausimus į kuriuos turi jame atsakyti rasi ČIA.
- CV- stojant į visas programas reikia pateikti savo gyvenimo aprašymą.
- Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti Statement of Education. Formą rasi ČIA.
After you have completed International Business Administration, you will have a wide range of career options. You can choose, for example, to pursue a Master's degree or to enter the job market.
Starting your professional career
Because the IBA Bachelor is so broad, you have a range of different fields you can pursue a career in, ranging from general management jobs, to the (management of) marketing, corporate finance, accounting, or even HR. You might kick-start your career with an international management traineeship, or pursue a career directly in international marketing and sales, international business consultancy, or international financial management. If you prefer the non-profit sector, you might consider supranational government positions, or even taking your academic skills to the next level and pursuing a PhD.
