From a fully automated production line to a robot who assists a surgeon in the operating theatre: mechatronics is everywhere. The Mechatronics major focuses on the design and control of mechanical systems. It's the ultimate combination of mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering and information technology. Will you become an expert in industrial robotics or PLC control and come up with the ultimate design?

The Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme offers plenty of elective options. After the common first-year phase, you choose the specialisation (major) that best suits your interests and what you want to do. Besides Mechatronics, you can also specialise in Sensor Technology or Electronics. So whether you want to tackle mechanics, sensors or the full spectrum of electronics, Hanze UAS has the right degree programme for you!

Why study the Mechatronics major at Hanze UAS?
  • Programme developed jointly with the business community: you do challenging, practical assignments at, for example, the Energy Academy Europe or at ENTRANCE, Hanze's Centre of Expertise in the energy transition. You work with real companies in a real working environment. So you gain work experience during your studies and help companies become more effective, innovative and sustainable.
  • Passionate, driven groups: the degree programme is small-scale and personal: you work in small, motivated groups. The teachers know you and there is plenty of room for one-on-one contact. You also have a mentor who plays an important role in your personal and professional development. We also have a really fun study association where you are very welcome.
  • Great job prospects: Upon completing your studies you can work for a wide variety of companies. As a control specialist, industrial automation engineer, mechatronics design engineer or service engineer. Your can do this at many companies from pure product development agencies to multinationals where mechatronics are central, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Many of our students go on to work in sectors such as healthcare, (sustainable) energy or transportation. The chance of finding a job is very high, because the world is eager for well-trained mechatronics specialists.
Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • turėti anglų kalbos pažymį Brandos atestate ir išlaikyti Anglų kalbos valstybinį egzaminą (egzamino rezultatas nėra svarbus, svarbiausia, kad jį išlaikytum)*

           arba

  • išlaikyti IELTS arba TOEFL testą.

*Jeigu nori pasitikrinti ar tavo anglų kalbos žinios yra pakankamos studijuoti Nyderlandų aukštosiose – suteikiame galimybę laikyti Oxford anglų kalbos testą. Nors anglų kalbos testas nėra reikalaujamas, patartina žinoti savo galimybes ir kalbos lygį.
