The Master's programme in International and European Law at Radboud University is unique in that it not only provides a thorough understanding of international and European law in general, but also offers further specialisation. After completing the compulsory courses you can specialise in one of four tracks.

This programme is not just aimed at students from EU member states. All nations in the world trade and interact with the EU, which has rules and regulations that have to be complied with. Law students from all over the world will therefore benefit from this Master’s programme. You’ll obtain a sound basis for an international legal career as a European law expert.

Specialisations

International and European Law Advanced. Develop an elaborate understanding of international and European law and public international law. Gain in-depth knowledge on the external dimension of EU law and the rules that govern the European Union’s international relations.

Business Law. With the increasing level of globalisation, there is a growing demand for international legal experts. With this programme, you become an expert on the intersection between international, European and national law on businesses.

Human Rights and Migration. International and European legal instruments greatly influence the position and mobility of citizens in the EU. With this programme, you gain in-depth knowledge on the major international courts and how they protect the rights of individuals.

European Law and Global Affairs. Do you want to become an expert on European law, but also study international relations of the European Union from other academic perspectives? Then the Master's specialisation European Law and Global Affairs might be something for you!

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.

  • ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi.
  • Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.
Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • IELTS – 6.5
  • TOEFL – 90

A completed Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law equivalent to the Dutch educational level.

Kiti reikalavimai

For those who don’t meet the requirements, Radboud University does not offer a pre-Master’s programme in European Law. If you wish to enter the Master’s programme in European Law, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree (from a research university) that meets the requirements.

This Master's programme is primarily designed for students who wish to pursue an international legal career in the area of European Law. Many of our graduates are working in the 'traditional' legal professions as a lawyer, judge or prosecutor. Graduates with a European legal background are also well-qualified to take up positions in research, consultancy or diplomacy. Prospective employers interested in your expertise include NGOs and international organisations such as the European Commission, the European Central Bank, the United Nations, international courts and tribunals, lobby organisations, and charity foundations.
