The bachelor’s degree programme in Economics and Business Administration is a degree programme with an international focus.
Introduction
Through the Economics and Business Administration programme, you learn to identify, understand, analyse and solve problems of an international nature in multinational and international companies.
Studying Economics and Business Administration at Aarhus University
The teaching of the programme consists of a mix of group work, classroom instruction and seminars, where you are trained to present and discuss material which is not easily accessible. You will be working with both academic texts and developing your personal skills within communication, argumentation, socialisation, collaboration and self-discipline.
International Focus, Compulsory Courses and Elective Subjects
The international focus of the programme means that the language of instruction is English and that all literature is in English. In the compulsory courses, you learn about management accounting, marketing, sales, administration, organisational behaviour, finance and investments. In addition, you are taught ancillary courses in mathematics, macroeconomics, business statistics and commercial law, and in the course of the programme you choose to specialise in either marketing, finance or management.
International Skills and Qualifications
In the course of the degree programme, you can choose to spend a semester at a foreign university. This is a chance to develop your cultural understanding and learn about cooperation in an international perspective. A period of studying abroad is an important programme element, which provides you with useful skills and qualifications for your future career in international business.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
- IELTS – 6.5
- TOEFL - 83. Aarhus universiteto TOEFL kodas yra 8935.
- Brandos atestato vidurkis - bendras brandos atestato vidurkis turi būti ne mažesnis kaip 8.
- Matematika. Bendras išklausytas matematikos valandų skaičius 10 + 11 + 12 klasėje būtų bent 250 valandų.*
- Istorija. Bendras išklausytas istorijos pamokų skaičius 10 + 11 + 12 klasėje turi viršyti 150 valandų, arba tarptautinės ekonomikos 150 valandų.*
- Pažymių išrašas - Atkreipkite dėmesį, kad brandos atestate valandos yra surašytos akademinėmis valandomis, ir tik 11, 12 klasės.
- Todėl Jūs turite brandos atestate esančias valandas paversti į tikras (astranomines) valandas (tam naudokitės Kastu pažymių išraše esančia formule valandoms perskaičiuoti) ir įsitikinti, jog turite pakankamai valandų.
- Jeigu valandų turite nepakankamai jums prie anketos reikia prisegti užpildytą pažymių išrašą, kuriame atsispindėtų 10+11+12 klasės valandos.
*Atkreipkite dėmesį, kad valandų skaičius yra tik orientacinis. Paprastai stojantieji turintys minėtą valandų skaičių atitinka priėmimo sąlygas, tačiau būna, kad kai kuriais atvejais minėtų valandų skaičius yra nepakankamas. Todėl minėtas valandų skaičius turėtų būti laikomas tik orientaciniu ir galutinį vertinimą ar valandų pakanka, ar ne atlieka Aarhus universiteto komisija.
With a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, you will be eligible for admission to a number of different master’s degree programmes. Having completed your bachelor’s degree, you can also get a job in a multinational or international company working with imports/exports or internationalisation. You can also work with financial management, accounting, sales, marketing and administration.
In the course of your studies, you gain a comprehensive understanding of the many different factors, which have an impact on the running of an international company. You learn to analyse the company’s situation and make informed decisions based on the problems you identify.
Many graduates go on to work as consultants, project managers or analysts, for example in industrial companies or the service sector. You can also work in accounting, sales or in advertising.
