Sustainable future needs innovative designers. In Smart and Sustainable Design degree programme you get to have an impact on what the future world looks like and how we design sustainable products.
In design education you can choose your major subject in:

Degree content
In our Smart and Sustainable Design degree programme you learn to take into consideration the challenges of sustainability in modern design. You learn to use different production techniques and materials in practise so you can design more sustainable products and services that fit to our future’s needs.
In your designs you research the users’ needs, create solutions and utilize digital sketching tools side by side with traditional ones. You familiarise yourself with different materials and manufacturing products in real studio environments. Our students have for example printed shoes with a 3D printer and created new fashion from leftoverfabric scraps.
During your studies you develop as a designer in real working life projects. You often work in teams and will get skills that you can apply in working life.
RUN EU -studies
HAMK is part of the RUN-Europe University, comprised of nine European universities. You can leverage the fantastic opportunities provided by RUN Europe University for accumulating international study experiences!
- Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą. Smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą ir kada jis reikalingas, rasi čia. Išrašą būtina pildyti kompiuteriu, o NE RANKA.
- Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

- Motyvacinis laiškas yra NEprivalomas dokumentas stojant į šio universiteto programas.
Turėti ne mažesnį nei 7 anglų kalbos pažymį Brandos atestate.
Atrankos kursas (selection course)
Studentai, stojantys į šią programą, turi atlikti papildomas atrankos užduotis:
- Užduotis skirta patikrinti motyvacijai;
- Dizaino užduotis.
Stojamieji egzaminai organizuojami keturis kartus per paraiškų teikimo laikotarpį:
- gruodžio 9–10 d. (paraiškos išsiųstos iki 2024 m. spalio 1 d. – lapkričio 31 d.)
- vasario 10–11 d. (paraiškos išsiųstos iki 2024 m. gruodžio 1 d. – 2025 m. sausio 31 d.)
- balandžio 8 - 9 d. (paraiškos išsiųstos iki 2025 m. vasario 1 d. - kovo 31 d.)
- gegužės 22–23 d. (paraiškos išsiųstos iki 2025 m. balandžio 1 d.)
What will you become?
You will become a professional designer. You can create environmentally conscious products for example as a fashion designer, product developer or entrepreneur.
