Architectural Technology and Construction Management
At the Architectural Technology and Construction Management study programme, you will learn to design, plan, execute and manage construction projects. We work with both small and large projects from start to finish.
You will gain project management skills and experience in using digital tools in the construction process.
The Architectural Technology and Construction Management programme is grounded in problem-based learning, and you will have an influence on your learning throughout the education based on your interests and talents.
NB! Graduating from the Architectural Technology and Construction Management programme does not prepare or qualify you to becoming an architect. The programme, however, prepares you to work closely with architects during the building process.

Masterclasses
Throughout your education, you will have 4-6 masterclasses within a company. At the masterclasses, hosted by a Danish company, you can meet Architectural Technology and Construction Management graduates and learn more about their daily tasks. You will get new knowledge in a study related area, solve cases and/or join a workshop. A masterclass takes place on location with the industry partner and has a duration of 2,5-5 hours.
Mentorship
On your 4th and 5th semester you will get the opportunity to have a mentor. A mentor is an international ATCM graduate who is now employed in an organisation or company in Denmark.
Mentor volunteer their time to guide, motivate and inspire you in your educational journey as well as in the process towards an internship in Denmark. The mentorship will be one-one or in small groups of 2-3 mentees pr. mentor. This is a unique opportunity for you to develop both personally and professionally.
Internship
At the 6th semester, you get to work independently in a company during your internship, solving tasks with the other employees. We generally recommend our international students to do your internship in Denmark, because having a professional network greatly increases your chances of finding a job after graduating.

Vienu iš šių būdų galite patvirtinti universitetui savo anglų kalbos žinias:
- Anglų kalbos valandos - bendras išklausytas anglų kalbos valandų skaičius 10 + 11 + 12 klasėje būtų bent 210 valandų bei anglų kalbos pažymys ne mažesnis kaip 6;
- TOEFL - 83
- IELTS - 6.5
- Matematika. Bendras išklausytas matematikos valandų skaičius turi viršyti 125 valandas, o pažymys būti nemažesnis nei 6.
Stojant į šią programą reikia pateikti:
- Sertifikatai/kvalifikacijos- norint padidinti savo šansus rekomenduojama pateikti sertifikatus, susijusius su šia sritimi: Illustrator, CAD-CAM, MS Project, Revit, Sketch-Up.
- Portfolio- neprivaloma, bet rekomenduojama, PDF formatu, daugiausiai 8 darbai, įskaitant techninius brėžinius;

With the Architectural Technology and Construction Management Degree, you will find exciting jobs and excellent career opportunities within consulting or contracting companies - either as Project Manager or Construction Designer.
VIA Career Service Centre
VIA University College is already making a huge effort to help international students find internships and jobs in Denmark. For several years, our Career Service Centre has been offering VIA students help and guidance in searching for jobs and internships in Denmark by offering workshops on “how to write a CV”,or “how to write an application”. The Centre also organizes company dating – a campus fair where students get to meet a lot of Danish companies to hear more about career opportunities. The Career Service Centre is currently intensifying these activities in response to both the Ministry’s and VIA’s wish for international students to remain in Denmark after graduation. We will be offering graduates even more events and opportunities to meet the companies, just as the opening hours at the Career Service Centre have been extended and more seminars will be held. We want our international students to experience that access to the Danish companies and to the Danish labour market will be even easier in the future.
