You have the key to an unforgettable experience for any tourist or guest. With your sharp insight into their wishes and needs, you can easily outperform the competition with innovative and sustainable solutions. The tourism and leisure industry is eager to welcome you!

The Tourism Management programme relates directly to issues and developments within the industry. You will work on real life business cases and learn to recognize opportunities, taking into account both people and nature. You will know exactly what travelers want, how you create the best experience for them and how you provide hospitable service.

You will work on real-life issues for clients in the tourism sector, participate in study trips and be offered myriad opportunities in terms of internships and travel abroad. You will gain a strong footing in the professional field from the minute you start your degree, which will help you identify and exploit promising opportunities. These experiences will help you become an enterprising and pioneering professional, who has a lot to offer this sector.

Tourism Management offers three themes:
  • Creating hospitable connections. Not only do you know what hospitality means, but you also know how to approach, reach and surprise people with respect. Hospitality becomes a part of your DNA.
  • Multiple value entrepreneurship. You think beyond making a profit. You also have an eye for people, society, nature and climate. You will soon know how to responsibly operate in a future-proof way.
  • Technological innovation. You will learn how to proactively take advantage of opportunities by implementing your creative ideas. This will ultimately lead to innovative products and services with smart tools. Think of the countless apps that make your trip more enjoyable.

From the first year you start working with real assignments for (international) companies and organizations. Our teachers are ready for you to work with you on this. The contact between you and the teachers is easy, personal and informal. In addition, you enjoy a wide range of choices, both nationally and internationally. From the second year you have increasingly the opportunity to walk your own path. Think of your (foreign) internship, an interesting minor, study abroad or challenging projects. Are you a Dutch student? Then it is a requirement for you to study abroad for at least six months or to undertake an internship abroad. No punishment, right?
