The Psychology Bachelor’s programme focuses on three domains:
- Brain & Cognition. How does the brain work and what role does it play in our behaviour? This domain focuses on the anatomy of the brain. You study language, learning, memory, perception, and emotions. You also focus on disorders such as strokes and dementia.
- Development & Mental Health. What developmental changes do people go through over the course of their lives, from infancy to old age? In this domain you study the cognitive, motor, moral and social-emotional development of humans. You learn how our social context (family, school, work, and culture) influences our wellbeing, and you practice how to recognise and treat psychological disorders in children, adults and the elderly.
- Behaviour & Environment. How do groups and cultures influence our thoughts, emotions and behaviours? This domain teaches you everything you need to know about interpersonal relationships, group behaviour, stereotypes and prosocial and antisocial behaviour. You study how people interact with each other and how they influence each other, be it, in families, at sports clubs or at work.
Kastu feedback about the program after the visit
- At RU students have to really like to do research, to write and to analyze, because most of the assignments are written.
- RU has free writing classes at which students can attend if they struggle with academic writing (most of the students attends them).
- Students mostly can learn Dutch for free and get 50% discount to learn other languages like Spanish, Chinese or other 15 languages.
- Easy to find a job as a student – lots of shops, bars, restaurants. Student who gave me a tour said all his friends found a job in 2-3 months.
- Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą su paskutinių trijų metų pažymiais (10, 11 ir 12 klasės pirmo pusmečio). 10 klasės vidurkių skiltis gali būti:
- papildomai įtraukta į KASTU pažymių išrašo formą;
- pateikta mokyklos ruoštame išraše;
- galima pateikti pagrindinio išsilavinimo pažymėjimą ir jo oficialų vertimą.
- Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, anketoje turi prisegti savo Brandos atestatą + Pažymių išrašas su 11kl. vidurkiais.
Pastaba:
- Motyvacinis laiškas yra privalomas dokumentas stojant į šio universiteto programas.
- CV - stojant į visas bakalauro programas reikia pateikti savo CV.
- Vienas iš stojimo etapų į Psychology programą yra Selection Process (reikės atlikti papildomas užduotis).
IELTS - 6.0 (arba 6.5, priklausomai nuo programos), iš kiekvienos dalies nemažiau 6.0
TOEFL - 80 (arba 90, priklausomai nuo programos), iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau negu 20
TOEFL iBT - 80 (arba 90, priklausomai nuo programos), iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau negu 20

Šiai programai yra labai svarbios matematikos žinios, todėl rekomenduojama jos mokytis aukštesniuoju A lygiu.
Taip pat reikia išlaikyti matematikos egzaminą:
- Ne mažiau nei 60 balų, jei mokomasi aukštesniuoju A lygiu;
- Ne mažau kaip 70 balų, jei mokomasi žemesniuoju B ygiu.
Jei šių reikalavimų neavyks išpildyti, galimybė įstoti lieka išlaikant papildomą matematikos testą.
REKOMENDUOJAMA mokytis Biologiją aukštesniuoju A lygiu.

- ! Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti Statement of Education. Formą rasi ČIA.
- !Visi, kurie yra pabaigę mokyklą ir į šį universitetą stoja jau turėdami Brandos atestatą, kartu su juo - turi pateikti ir pažymių išrašą su 11 klasės metiniais vidurkiais. To reikia, nes universitetas nori matyti paskutinių 2 metų pažymius.
After your studies
Since behaviour plays a role absolutely everywhere, you can find psychologists working in a wide range of functions and sectors, including aid, education, human resources management, public policy, counselling, training, coaching, sport and advertising. However, no matter how different the fields of work are, the psychologist's mission remains the same: to contribute to quality of life and society by changing unhealthy and undesirable behaviour.
