Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence explores the fundaments of Artificial Intelligence and its relation to the human brain. By integrating theory with hands-on practice, you immediately apply your programming, Machine learning and Deep learning skills to AI applications across various domains. By exploring topics such as the interaction between human cognition and technology, the program equips you to develop technological innovations and address the implications of using intelligent systems in our daily lives.
Artificial Intelligence has become an intertwined part of our daily lives. What kind of AI are there? How do these intelligent system work? How does AI interact with humans in meaningful way? Should AI be capable to communicate effectively with their users, or should it be designed to operate independently? And how do you ensure that this happens ethically?
To answer those questions, you will learn how intelligent systems work and how they relate to the workings of the human brain. You also learn how to design and program artificial intelligence applications. Additionally, there is a focus on the social and ethical aspect of the use of intelligent systems in our daily lives.

- The program focuses on developing applications for Human-AI teaming and hybrid intelligence that are aimed at expanding human intellect (by combining human and machine intelligence) rather than replacing it.
- Education is offered in a state-of-the-art environment with several labs, including the Brain and Behavior Lab and the AI for Robotics Lab.

- Vienas iš stojimo etapų į Tilburg University yra Matching/Selection procedure (reikės atlikti arba papildomas užduotis, arba pateikti papildomus dokumentus arba sudalyvauti interviu).
SVARBU: anglų kalbos testo sertifikatą privaloma pateikti kartu su visais dokumentais, atsiunčiant anketą. Universitetas nesvarsto stojimo anketų be anglų kalbos testo rezultatų, todėl sertifikatą privaloma pateikti iki stojimo pabaigos. Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
- IELTS – 6.0, iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau nei 5.5
- TOEFL – 80

- CV- stojant į visas programas reikia pateikti savo gyvenimo aprašymą.
- Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti Statement of Education. Formą rasi ČIA.
What can you do with a Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence degree?
- An Intelligent Software Developer develops and programs software. As a software developer, you focus on software that runs programs, websites and intelligent devices and machines. Modifying existing software can also be part of your job.
- An AI researcher conducts research on the ability of machines to demonstrate intelligent behavior. As a researcher, you aim to gain new insights to contribute to new and improved uses of artificial intelligence. You can work in (or for) sectors such as healthcare, education, the smart industry, or help combat cyber crime.
