Are you fascinated by computers, the science behind them, and what you can do with them? Do you enjoy programming, or are you eager to get started with it? Would you like to study computer science, while also gaining expertise in other essential fields, such as electrical engineering or business information technology? Do you see yourself becoming a technical computer scientist committed to societal improvements, for example in healthcare, finance, or the environment? If so, our three-year, English-taught Bachelor’s in Technical Computer Science (TCS) is the right choice for you.
You study a lot of mathematics and you gain in-depth knowledge of programming, software systems, computer networks, algorithms, computer hardware, human-machine interaction and much more. You also go deeply into aspects such as parallelism, information and data, complexity and security. With this bachelor’s, especially if you combine it with a master’s, you learn to use your fascination for computers and technology for improvements and solutions in the most diverse areas of society.
During this three-year Bachelor's in Technical Computer Science, you will follow twelve modules: four modules per year. Each module covers a theme and brings together all the main aspects of your studies: theory and practice, research and solution design, self-study and teamwork.
- Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą. Smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą ir kada jis reikalingas, rasi čia.
- Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

- Vienas iš stojimo etapų į Technical Computer Science programą yra Selection Procedure (reikės atlikti papildomas užduotis).
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
- turėti anglų kalbos pažymį Brandos atestate ir išlaikyti Anglų kalbos valstybinį egzaminą ne mažiau kaip 36 balais.
arba
- išlaikyti IELTS arba TOEFL testą.
*Jeigu nori pasitikrinti ar tavo anglų kalbos žinios yra pakankamos studijuoti Nyderlandų aukštosiose – suteikiame galimybę laikyti Oxford anglų kalbos testą. Nors anglų kalbos testas nėra reikalaujamas, patartina žinoti savo galimybes ir kalbos lygį.
Stojant į į University of Twente programas būtina laikyti ne mažiau kaip 3 valstybinius egzaminus.
Stojant į Technical Computer Science programą būtina:
- Matematiką - mokytis aukštesniuoju (A) lygiu ir išlaikyti valstybinį egzaminą ne mažiau 16 balų.
- Likę, 2 būtini valstybiniai egzaminai pasirinktinai (vienas iš 2 gali būti anglų kalbos egzaminas).
Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti ir dokumentą, kuriame būtų nurodyti planuojami laikyti brandos egzaminai. Dokumentą užtenka patvirtinti savo parašu. Egzaminų formą rasi ČIA.

This means that job prospects for computer scientists are excellent. As a Technical Computer Science graduate you can, for example, work at one of those large information technology companies you know from your daily use of their systems for Internet searches, or your social media activities. You may want to work at a smaller company that is just starting out, or even launch your own business. There is also a lot of demand for people who understand and can apply information technology in healthcare institutes, transport companies, and in the creative industry. Specifically, there is a need for people who want to use technology to solve problems, while also asking themselves how they can organize all this and place it in the right context. These experts – or computer scientists – can choose from many positions in the job market, because they are at home in a young branch of science.
