Note: Nursing is not applicable for September 2020
We educate health care professionals with general and special knowledge in health care and nursing. The studies enable graduates to work in Finland and other international environments in hospitals and health centres as well as in the private sector.
The students receive good theoretical and practical skills in nursing, nursing science and nursing research so as to be able to contribute to the development of nursing. The students also obtain competences in distance- and digital services and in client-oriented servicecounselling. In the learning process the student formulates links between practical experience and theoretical concepts. These links require the integration of theory and practice and that is facilitated by reflection on practice.
The clinical practice can be done in Finland or partly abroad. Students are required to learn Finnish to the extent that clinical work in hospital is enabled.
