You will learn about structural engineering and the design of load-bearing structures. You learn the latest design, production and management techniques and how to apply them to practical situations in working life. A degree completed in English provides construction engineers with good language skills and international know-how, making it possible to work anywhere in the world.
Construction Engineering Degree Content
In Construction Engineering you focus on structural engineering and the design of load-bearing structures. Understanding of the structures and building information modelling (BIM) skills play an important role. These skills are valued in the field and will help your future career in construction.You learn about construction technology, structural systems in buildings and how to plan a building project. You get to dive into the mechanics, mathematics, technical drawing and CAD. You also get an understanding of 3D visualisation and the necessary IT skills.
- Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą. Smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą ir kada jis reikalingas, rasi čia. Išrašą būtina pildyti kompiuteriu, o NE RANKA.
- Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

Anglų kalbos žinios patikrinamos vienu iš šių būdų:
- Turėti ne mažesnį nei 7 anglų kalbos pažymį Brandos atestate
- Laikant SAT testą - atliekamos anglų kalbos užduotys
Priėmimas į HAMK vyksta vienu iš dviejų būdų:
1. Pagal Brandos atestato pažymius
- Pažymių vidurkis privalo būti ne mažesnis nei 7.
- Matematikos ir fizikos pažymiai privalo būti ne mažesni nei 7.
2. SAT testas
Studentai, kurie neatitinka pažymių reikalavimų, gali laikyti SAT testą. Testo rezultatus būtina pateikti kartu su stojimo anketa.
Testas susideda iš kelių dalių:
- Skaitymo
- Rašymo
- Kalbėjimo
- Matematikos
HAMK reikalauja mažiausiai 500 balų iš skaitymo rašymo ir kalbėjimo dalių ir 500 iš matematikos.
You will become a construction engineer with a focus on structural engineering. You can work with constructing new premises, repairing existing structures or project management in Finland and abroad for example in an engineering design office. Your daily tasks can involve structural design, product development or for example supervision in an official capacity.
