Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology

As a Chemical Engineer you will take part in the technological developments for the future. You will learn how to design, control and regulate chemical processes, and you will be able to use your knowledge to impact the world we live in.
Chemical and biotechnological processes are significant factors in today's modern and technological society. You will study issues within analysis, production, and control regarding environment, energy, food safety, and development of new materials.
By way of close contact to industrial partners you will solve real life issues, and you will learn how to apply academic knowledge in a creative and experimental way in order to examine different potential solutions.

Atkreipkite dėmesį, kad brandos atestate valandos yra surašytos akademinėmis valandomis, ir tik 11, 12 klasės. Todėl Jūs turite brandos atestate esančias valandas paversti į tikras valandas (tam naudokitės Kastu pažymių išraše esančia formule valandoms perskaičiuoti) ir įsitikinti, jog turite pakankamai valandų.
*DĖMESIO! Jei siunti anketą besimokydamas dvyliktoje klasėje, Brandos atestatą privalai pateikti iki LIEPOS 5 d. Jeigu Brandos atestatą atsiųsi po Liepos 5 d. turėsi galimybę įstoti tik tuo atveju, jeigu liks laisvų vietų.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
IELTS – 6.5
TOEFL – 88
- Matematika - bendras išklausytų valandų skaičius turi būti 375 arba daugiau.
- Fizika - bendras išklausytų valandų skaičius turi būti 200 arba daugiau.
- Chemija arba Botechnologijos - turite turėti būti išklausę 200 ar daugiau valandų chemijos arba 375 valandas ir daugiau biotechnologijų.
- Anglų kalba. Bendras išklausytas anglų kalbos pamokų skaičius vidurinėje mokykloje turi viršyti 210 valandų.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology you can continue your studies on a Master’s programme in the fields of Chemical Engineering or Oil and Gas Technology. Your future work place may then be a consulting engineering company, a production company, a ministry or maybe you would like to become Phd student at the university or at a research institution.
As a chemical engineer you can work with for instance:
- development of new materials for medical equipment
- production of cheap solar cells for energy production
- production of enzymes
- teaching
