Gain in-depth knowledge about the workings of the human brain and computers that are capable of intelligent behavior.
- The program focuses on developing applications for Human-AI teaming and hybrid intelligence that are aimed at expanding human intellect (by combining human and machine intelligence) rather than replacing it.
- Education is offered in a state-of-the-art environment with several labs, including Mind Labs, a Robot Lab, and a Virtual and Mixed Reality Lab.
- The program is built on a balanced mix of theory and practice and promotes ‘learning by doing’: during your studies, you are confronted with real-world problems and will become acquainted with the application of AI in commercial and organizational settings, e.g. by participating in projects with external partners.
- Ethics and AI is an integrated part of the program, stimulating you to develop AI solutions that are ethical and sustainable.
The interdisciplinary Bachelor’s program Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence integrates the study of artificial intelligence with the study of human cognition. The program offers a balanced mix of theory and practice and includes courses on programming, Machine learning and Deep learning. By exploring topics such as the interaction between humans and technology, the program equips you to develop technological innovations that benefit society.
In this English-taught program, you learn about how intelligent systems operate and how it is related to the workings of the human brain. The study handles questions like: 'Can computers interpret human emotions in a reliable way? How much meaning can be derived from language? What is required to create a natural interaction between a human and a robot? How do you avoid ‘black box’ software, where the user doesn’t understand how decisions or conclusions are reached? What is the potential impact of Augmented Reality on our experience of the world?'

SVARBU: anglų kalbos testo sertifikatą privaloma pateikti kartu su visais dokumentais, atsiunčiant anketą. Universitetas nesvarsto stojimo anketų be anglų kalbos testo rezultatų, todėl sertifikatą privaloma pateikti iki stojimo pabaigos. Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
- IELTS – 6.0, iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau nei 5.5
- TOEFL – 80
- A good knowledge of mathematics is important for being successful in this Bachelor’s program.
- Need to pass State Examination Mathematics.
- CV- stojant į visas programas reikia pateikti savo gyvenimo aprašymą.
- Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti Statement of Education. Formą rasi ČIA.

After your Bachelor's in BSc Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence
After obtaining your bachelor’s degree you will be prepared to start your career. Most students however, continue with a master’s program before they enter the job market. Only after finishing your master’s degree, you will have the full academic education.
Most of our students continue towards a master’s degree after completing their bachelor's program. After you have finished your bachelor’s program, you can opt for the MSc Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence of Tilburg University, or an AI master in the Netherlands or abroad.
Do you want to pursue a Master’s program in a different discipline? You can use your minor in the third year to gain (part of) the required knowledge. That's why we recommend you to start thinking about a possible Master during the second year of your studies. You will be able to carefully select the matching minor courses for the third year. In some cases you will still need to do a Pre-Master's program to be fully prepared for a master's program in a different discipline.
