Global Law
Learn to look beyond borders and the limits of a single judicial system. Compare legal problems and solutions from a variety of jurisdictions by combining different legal systems. Tackle global legal challenges and situate the law in a broader social and economic context. With the LLB Global Law, you become the linking pin in cross-border cases involving various players, such as governments, organizations, banks and NGOs.
Global Law offers a solid foundation in legal training: the program covers all topics traditionally found in legal education, such as contract law, tort law, criminal law, administrative law, property law, and constitutional law. This program takes the study of law beyond the limits of a single judicial system and investigates legal solutions from a variety of jurisdictions and systems.
- During the first year you will become familiar with the law through courses such as History of International Law and Global Legal History. The first year also incorporates a strong interdisciplinary component, which helps you to develop the skills needed to collaborate with experts from other, non-legal disciplines, such as economists and sociologists.
- From the second year on, the program shifts its focus: from interdisciplinary courses you will move over to strong legal courses. You really delve into law. At the same time, the program will keep its unique trans-national perspective.
- The third year is the time to complete your program and to get ready for graduation. You will have the opportunity to go on exchange in the first semester, but you can also stay in Tilburg and choose between different minors. Additionally, you will write your thesis during your last semester.
The program teaches all of the main legal topics found in traditional legal education, such as contract law, tort law, criminal law, administrative law, property law, and constitutional law. What makes Global Law unique, however, is that these topics are approached from a global perspective. Our curriculum is designed to prepare you for legal work in settings where multiple legal systems come together.

- Motyvacinis laiškas yra privalomas dokumentas stojant į šio universiteto programas.
- CV - stojant į visas bakalauro programas reikia pateikti savo CV.
- Vienas iš stojimo etapų į Tilburg University yra Matching/Selection procedure (reikės atlikti arba papildomas užduotis, arba pateikti papildomus dokumentus arba sudalyvauti interviu).
SVARBU: anglų kalbos testo sertifikatą privaloma pateikti kartu su visais dokumentais, atsiunčiant anketą. Universitetas nesvarsto stojimo anketų be anglų kalbos testo rezultatų, todėl sertifikatą privaloma pateikti iki stojimo pabaigos. Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
- IELTS – 6.0, iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau nei 5.5
- TOEFL – 80
- CV- stojant į visas programas reikia pateikti savo gyvenimo aprašymą.
- Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti Statement of Education. Formą rasi ČIA.
Career prospects
With your Bachelor of Laws degree, you have a range of different career options in the legal field. In general, two prominent career paths can be distinguished.
- The first one is the path towards traditional legal professions .
- The second one is the path towards becoming a lawyer in an organization or company .
The interdisciplinary components of the program prepare you to become a key figure in an international organization, for example as the linking pin between the legal and the marketing departments, accounting or development experts in the organization. These skills are vital in other organizations as well, both governmental and non-governmental.
