Law bases its programme on eight professional competencies - legal analysis, advisory skills, representation, decision making, regulation, management, organisation and legal communication. These skills will be tested continuously during the four years. During year one and two, we’ll help you join up the dots in international court cases with a specialist theoretical framework including hands-on group projects and guest lectures with knowledgeable experts from our extensive network. In year three, you’ll get the chance to specialise and choose from four legal fields. You’ll also be able to go on an exchange, before concluding the programme with an internationally orientated internship and thesis.
We’ve just launched new minors on Cyber Security and Compliance, two very up and coming fields of law. Your minor options at THUAS are endless. If you’re internationally inclined, you could also follow a minor at another Dutch university.

Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti ir dokumentą, kuriame būtų nurodyti planuojami laikyti brandos egzaminai. Dokumentą turi patvirtinti mokyklos administracija. Egzaminų formą rasi ČIA.
After graduating from the International and European Law programme, you will have a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) and will be fully equipped to kick-start your career as a legal professional. However, in most countries, a Bachelor’s degree alone will not make you eligible to enter the bar. If you want to become a lawyer (advocate, solicitor, barrister, etc.), then you will have to select the country in which you would like to practice law and then establish that country’s additional requirements. In the Netherlands, for example, it means you will have to follow a Master’s degree in law and attain a so-called ‘civil effect’.
More and more Law graduates continue their education after graduating from THUAS. Outside the Netherlands, you can follow a masters after graduation. Law students have enrolled for masters at King’s College and the London School of Economics in London, the University of Kent in Canterbury, Oxford and Cambridge. Even as far as Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia.
You should note that some universities in the Netherlands require you to follow a pre-masters course after graduating from THUAS. There are exceptions, such as Maastricht University, but students will have to complete an entry test first.
Tu laukei ilgai. Kantriai žaidei pagal taisykles, kurios buvo ne tavo. Tu laukei. Ir sulaukei. Mokyklos era baigiasi. Šiandien jau Tavęs laukia pasaulis. Kur skrisi? Kur mokysiesi? Kur linksminsiesi? Kur atrasi naujus draugus? Kur iš naujo atrasi save?...
