In the interdisciplinary Bachelor’s program Liberal Arts and Sciences you approach societal challenges from multiple perspectives. By combining insights from a range of scientific disciplines, you discover creative solutions for, and gain an in-depth understanding of complex global issues. You will attend lectures by experts from professional fields such as law, economics, philosophy, sociology, psychology and cognitive neurosciences.

University College Tilburg offers a Liberal Arts and Sciences program that combines different scientific disciplines: law, economics, philosophy, sociology, psychology, and cognitive neuroscience. The intensive program enables you to develop into a critical thinker, a committed citizen and an academically trained professional. You will acquire in-depth insights into complex global issues and learn to develop creative solutions based on an interdisciplinary perspective.

In the first year you follow a core curriculum that introduces you to the various scientific disciplines. That way, you can discover which discipline appeals to you the most.

In the second year, you specialize by choosing one of the following majors:

  • Social Sciences: Human Behavior
  • Law in an International Context
  • Arts and Humanities: Past-Present-Future
  • Business and Economics
  • Cognitive Neuroscience: Brain and Cognition

The first two years provide a solid foundation.

In the third year you will have the opportunity to follow different electives during a minor program, take online courses, or study abroad. The diverse program allows you to set up your unique and personal profile. You will conclude your study program by writing a Bachelor thesis. Depending on your major, you will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas
  • Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą. Smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą ir kada jis reikalingas, rasi čia.
  • Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka anketoje prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

 

 

Pastaba:

  • Motyvacinis laiškas yra privalomas dokumentas stojant į šio universiteto programas.
  • CV - stojant į visas bakalauro programas reikia pateikti savo CV. 
  • Vienas iš stojimo etapų į Tilburg University yra Matching/Selection procedure (reikės atlikti arba papildomas užduotis, arba pateikti papildomus dokumentus arba sudalyvauti interviu).

 

 

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

SVARBU: anglų kalbos testo sertifikatą privaloma pateikti kartu su visais dokumentais, atsiunčiant anketą. Universitetas nesvarsto stojimo anketų be anglų kalbos testo rezultatų, todėl sertifikatą privaloma pateikti iki stojimo pabaigos. Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • IELTS – 6.0, iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau nei 5.5
  • TOEFL – 80

 

Kiti reikalavimai
  • CV- stojant į visas programas reikia pateikti savo gyvenimo aprašymą.
  • Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti Statement of Education. Formą rasi ČIA.

Liberal Arts and Sciences is a selective program. The application procedure consists of two phases. In the first phase we check your eligibility; in the second phase we assess whether you and the program are a good fit on the basis of an application form and an interview. A positive decision at the end of both phases is required to be able to get admitted to the program.

The following document is part of the second phase and you only need to complete it once you have been conditionally admitted:

  • This form combines questions related to your motivation to apply for this program, with a short essay.
  • This form will be used as the basis for the admission interview.

After graduating in Liberal Arts and Sciences, you will have received a well-rounded education, including academic skills that employers commonly cite as highly desirable. You will have the ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and changing work environments. Depending on your interests, focus and the Master's program you choose, you will then have a wide variety of options. Pursue a Master's degree

Upon completion of the Liberal Arts and Sciences program, you will receive an internationally recognized Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from University College Tilburg. The degree awarded depends on the major you have chosen. This Bachelor’s degree allows you to apply for admission to a Master's program at Tilburg University or any other research university in the Netherlands or abroad. Graduates have been admitted to more than 150 different Master's programs worldwide.

Here you can find examples per major of Master's programs you could consider. Sometimes it is necessary to take extra courses in order to be admitted to your preferred Master's program. You can use the minor (30 ECTS) in Year 3 to include (part of) these courses in your curriculum.
