Sometimes it might seem your favourite artist is only playing his music for you, but all popular music is actually a product of both a talented performer and a savvy businessperson. It takes professionals to shape this type business and to give artists a chance to grow and prosper. The advertisements you see, the music you listen to and the concerts you visit, they are all products of smart business strategies by companies such as Spotify and Live Nation. It takes professionals to shape this business and to give artists a chance to grow and succeed. This is your chance to become a part of this profession.

You cannot imagine a world without music and you have always been interested in learning what it takes to organize events or festivals. You are interested in the music business as a whole, and in the ways music management is integrated in mass media such as television, radio, events and multimedia. You are creative, dynamic and enterprising, and you know how to bring out the best in people. You are open to develop a vision on the role music and entertainment have come to play in modern society. Once you graduate, you want to have the world of music and entertainment at your feet!

The Creative Business: International Music Management programme teaches you how to manage an entertainment production and gives you the opportunity to interact with leading people in the industry. The study programme provides you with a fine balance between theoretical frameworks, practical experience, an atmosphere of co-creation and overall high standards in education. In year two, you will join our student-run company in order to experience what it is like to work on an entertainment production from beginning to end. Experienced professionals supervise your personal development and the content of this programme.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas
  • Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą. Smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą ir kada jis reikalingas, rasi čia.
  • Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka anketoje prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • turėti anglų kalbos pažymį Brandos atestate ir išlaikyti Anglų kalbos valstybinį egzaminą (egzamino rezultatas nėra svarbus, svarbiausia, kad jį išlaikytum)*

           arba

  • išlaikyti IELTS arba TOEFL testą.

*Jeigu nori pasitikrinti ar tavo anglų kalbos žinios yra pakankamos studijuoti Nyderlandų aukštosiose – suteikiame galimybę laikyti Oxford anglų kalbos testą. Nors anglų kalbos testas nėra reikalaujamas, patartina žinoti savo galimybes ir kalbos lygį.

Let's make it a little more concrete. After graduation, you could work in one of the following positions:

  • Organizer of concerts or festivals
    In this field you organize concerts and/or festivals. You are aware of the needs of your target audience and think of creative ways to give the audience a good time. You instruct and escort people and make sure the event is a success.
  • Marketing Manager
    You oversee the marketing department where you will lead a team. You will inspire its members to think of creative ways to sell or develop a new product. You decide and control the marketing strategy and develop new ways to serve your target audience.
  • Product Manager
    As a Product Manager you are responsible for the development, improvement and retail sales of a product or a stream of products of a brand. You work together with the departments of Production, Sales and Marketing.
