Every day we are bombarded with a huge variety of promotional messages and it is becoming more and more difficult for brands to stand out in an increasingly crowded marketplace. This course focuses on the development of effective advertising and marketing communications which are key to achieving an organisation's marketing goals. Combined with this is a strong focus on branding and a solid foundation in all aspects of marketing. 

At Huddersfield we have a reputation for developing students with a ‘can do’ attitude and you will hone your skills working on live projects with our network of partner organisations. Together with the optional year-long placement this gives you a great practical insight into working in advertising and marketing communications.

This course will provide you with the knowledge, skills and techniques required for a career within the communications sector. The programme will give you a solid marketing foundation with the addition of specialist advertising and communications modules. The final year options will allow you to study subject areas that reflect your own career aspirations. 
 
The course offers an optional 48-week placement in Year 3. This salaried position provides the opportunity for you to experience advertising and business communications in action, during which you will apply the knowledge and skills obtained on the course. Placement providers have included Principles, Affinity Solutions, JDA Group, Wilson Harvey and Morgan Kai Agency.
 
Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Stojant į šį universitetą dėmesys yra kreipiamas į pažymius ir Brandos atestato vidurkį, kuris turi būti ne žemesnis kaip 8.

  • Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą. Smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą ir kada jis reikalingas, rasi čia.*

  • Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.

  • Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).

  • IELTS - 6.0

  • TOEFL – 80

Graduates have gone on to work in advertising agencies as account handlers - the people who manage the relationship between the agency’s creatives and the client. Others have moved into PR and communications roles within consumer goods organisations and in the public sector, as well as into marketing agencies and events management.
