Learn how to diagnose organizational problems such as inefficient communication between departments, formulate research-based solutions for these problems, communicate these effectively with relevant stakeholders, and manage the implementation processes. The Master’s program in Organization and Management Studies builds on an interdisciplinary social science perspective by drawing on insights from organizational science, strategic management, and organizational behavior.

Combine the latest insights and approaches from organization science, sociology, psychology, and business management. Learn to diagnose organizational problems and how to formulate research-based solutions to those problems. Apart from practical teamwork with frequent group assignments, you also learn through serious gaming.

Learn how to develop and change organizations with evidence-based interventions. You learn to diagnose organizational problems, formulate research-informed solutions to those problems, communicate these effectively to the relevant stakeholders in their respective organizations, and manage the implementation processes.

  • The combination of insights from organization science, strategic management, and organizational behavior makes this program unique in the Netherlands and Europe
  • During this program you will get small-scale, interactive education taught by leading scientists in the field. Apart from practical teamwork with frequent group assignments, you will also learn through serious gaming.
  • Deepen your knowledge and skills by doing an Extended Master's Program. This advanced program adds a one-year professional traineeship to the regular program with a wide range of companies to choose from. During the first semester, you will follow the same courses as the regular Master's program.
  • The Organizing for Global Social Challenges track gives you a different perspective on sustainable development based on the theories and methods pertinent to the Global Management of Social Issues discipline. This specialization considers the role of organizations in addressing global social challenges.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.

  • ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi.
  • Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.

 

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

SVARBU: anglų kalbos testo sertifikatą privaloma pateikti kartu su visais dokumentais, atsiunčiant anketą. Universitetas nesvarsto stojimo anketų be anglų kalbos testo rezultatų, todėl sertifikatą privaloma pateikti iki stojimo pabaigos. Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • IELTS – 6.5, ne mažiau nei 6.0 iš kiekvienos dalies
  • TOEFL – 90

 

Svarbūs reikalavimai

In order to be accepted directly onto our Master's program in Organization Studies, you will be required to have the following academic background:

  1. A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in social sciences e.g. Human Resource Studies, Organization Studies, or Business Studies;

  2. Basic knowledge about the social sciences e.g. sociology, psychology;

  3. Relevant knowledge about organizations, management and research methods.

Please note: unfortunately, work experience or an interest in this field cannot be taken into account for the admission process without a sufficient academic background in social sciences (e.g. socilogy, psychology).

  1. How you meet the specific criteria for admission mentioned above, with specific reference to your academic background.

  2. Why you want to follow this program of study e.g. what specifically appeals to you about the content of this program.

  4. What you have done in addition to your academic studies in this field.

  5. What added value you consider you could bring to our international classroom.

  6. What you would like to do after you have completed this degree.

Students graduating in Organization Studies at Tilburg University have excellent career opportunities. In an ever changing society, organizations need qualified employees with a comprehensive understanding of how organizations are structured and how they develop. In addition, the ability to analyze problems within organizations is of vital importance.

The Master's program in Organization Studies prepares students for management positions in the public and private sectors, as well as for careers in research and consultancy. There are excellent opportunities for graduates who wish to pursue positions such as policy advisor, management consultant and quality project manager, to name but a few. Graduates have pursued careers in national and international consulting companies, such as Berenschot and Accenture, within organizations in the public and semipublic sectors in the Netherlands and in large multi-national companies, such as Philips and KPN.
