Both study programmes are English-taught and attract many students from abroad. Also (guest) lecturers come from all over the world. This creates a vibrant, dynamic environment through all of the lessons, concerts and (international) projects.

The Classical Music department is a close-knit community. We work towards one common goal: to let our students blossom, in an amicable atmosphere, into excellent musicians whose energy and creativity offer a valuable contribution to the international world of music and to society.

The Bachelor's programme in Classical Music aims to offer the right balance between technical skill and creativity, professional and artistic development, theory and practice, using teaching methods that are as practical and active as possible. Students work together with their teachers, with each other and in regular contact with the professional world, to develop into valued and competent musicians.
