Before moving abroad, I was someone who liked when everything was familiar and predictable. I never imagined how much studying in another country would change me.

Today, I can honestly say that choosing to study abroad was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I chose Value Chain Management because it combines many areas that interest me: business, economics, and finance. Although it is not yet one of the most popular study programmes, I quickly discovered how interesting and practical it is. We don't just learn theory—we work with real-life examples and situations that help us understand how things work in the business world.

The teachers are one of the best parts of my experience. They are friendly, supportive, and treat students with respect. Instead of feeling like just another person in the classroom, you feel like someone whose opinion matters. They always provide us with learning materials and presentations, so we have everything we need to succeed.

Classes are usually interesting and engaging. Of course, there are always some topics that are less exciting, but working in groups has taught me much more than just academic knowledge. It has helped me become more patient, open-minded, and better at understanding different perspectives.

One of the biggest surprises has been the number of new people I've met. I have met more new friends here than I had throughout my entire life before moving abroad. Living and studying with people from different backgrounds has completely changed the way I see the world.

I study in Horsens, a smaller city in Denmark. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a very welcoming and friendly place. There is always something happening, and I even became a basketball fan and started regularly attending games.

I am extremely grateful for the support I received from Kastu because without their help, I might not have these amazing memories and experiences. And this is only the beginning of my journey.

My biggest advice for anyone considering studying abroad is simple: don't let fear stop you. Fear often prevents us from experiencing the best opportunities in life.

Through this journey, I learned that the world is much smaller than it seems. I learned that travelling and meeting new people can teach you more than you expect. I learned that most problems have solutions—you just need to ask for help when you need it.

Studying abroad didn't just give me an education. It helped me discover a more confident version of myself.
