The Erasmus Mundus programme International Master in Innovative Medicine (IMIM) is a two-year MSc curriculum of excellence that provides training in translational biomedical research. Its overall aim is to educate the next generation of outstanding translational scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to work effectively in different disciplines, sectors, and countries.
IMIM is jointly organised by four universities: the University of Groningen (the Netherlands), Heidelberg University (Germany), the University of Tartu (Estonia) and Uppsala University (Sweden). IMIM students will benefit from extensive resources and experience in biomedical sciences offered by these institutions, as well as their networks in both academic and private sectors.
IMIM is a double-degree programme, meaning that students who completed the required mobility programmes at the different European partner universities will receive degree certificates from both institutions.
Alongside their courses and research projects, IMIM students will participate in Bench to Bedside and Beyond (BBB) projects throughout the four semesters, focusing on translational research and bringing science to society. This includes a multidisciplinary group project which is designed to foster students’ business and entrepreneurial skills.
Because IMIM is a jointly origanised programme, we have developed a seperate website with information about the programme, scholarships, student mobility, courses, and testimonials.
Please make sure to visit www.innovativemedicine.eu for a more comprehensive overview of the programme.
Below, you find a summarized overview of the general IMIM admission requirements. Please note that the available number of places in the programme is limited and that access to the programme is granted on the basis of a ranking of applications.
Our programme has a strong track record of success, with an almost non-existing drop-out rate and the vast majority of students completing the programme within two years. Over 90% of our graduates find employment within six months of completing their studies.
Thanks to the multidisciplinary nature of the programme you'll have a diverse range of career paths to choose from.
You'll be well-prepared to pursue a research-focused career, while also having the flexibility to explore positions that bridge science with business and policy.
Tu laukei ilgai. Kantriai žaidei pagal taisykles, kurios buvo ne tavo. Tu laukei. Ir sulaukei. Mokyklos era baigiasi. Šiandien jau Tavęs laukia pasaulis. Kur skrisi? Kur mokysiesi? Kur linksminsiesi? Kur atrasi naujus draugus? Kur iš naujo atrasi save?...
