International Management

International Management will provide you with a foundation in economics and business studies, emphasising the skills needed to work in a management team and drive business renewal in an international context.
Courses include entrepreneurship, microeconomics, macroeconomics, organisational management, strategy and international marketing. During your fifth semester, you will have the chance to specialise through studying abroad or taking elective courses. Additionally, the programme offers opportunities to complete an internship abroad and to pursue a double degree through our exchange programme with Kedge Business School (France).
Throughout your studies, you will have the chance to connect with the business world through our partner companies. You will have the opportunity to contribute to solving real business challenges and gain practical experience to prepare you for your professional life.
Internship
In this programme you have the possibility to do a 10-week internship during your elective semester if you don’t choose to study abroad at one of our partner universities. This internship can be done anywhere in the world and is a great opportunity to see how you can apply economic theories and tools to real-life problems.
Stojant į Jonkoping universitetą labai svarbu turėti gerą pažymių vidurkį, atitikti keliamus reikalavimus ir atsiųsti reikiamus dokumentus laiku.
Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti 4 paskutinių metų (9, 10, 11 ir 12 klasių) pažymių išrašą. Pažymių išrašo formą ir smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą, rasi čia. Reikalaujamas pažymių vidurkis yra 8.
Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.
Motyvacinis laiškas - privalomas dokumentas stojant į šio universiteto programas. Universitetas reikalauja, kad laiške būtų max. 1000 žodžių.
Interviu - yra tikimybė būti pakviestam į interviu.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo sertifikatą ir visus kitus reikalingus dokumentus atsiųstum iki balandžio 10d. Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
IELTS – 6.5 (ne mažiau nei 5.5 iš kiekvienos dalies)
TOEFL - 4.5 (ir ne mažiau 4.0 iš kiekvienos dalies)
Duolingo - 125.
Išimtis! Asmenims, stojimo anketos pateikimo metu jau turintiems brandos atestatą ir besimokiusiems anglų kalbos B2 lygiu, anglų kalbos testo laikyti nereikia. Pakanka pateikti brandos atestatą, kuriame nurodytas anglų kalbos B2 lygis.
- At least grade 8 in Mathematics B
- Social studies or equivalent in Brandos atestatas with grade 8 or better.
- Social studies is a combination of History and Geography or Economics.
- The number of places is limited and a selection is made based on high-school diploma grades and letter of motivation
Applicants who do not meet the Social Studies requirements through their high school studies, can fulfill the requirements by:
At least 5 years work experience
To verify this, one or more work certificates must be submitted that shows:
- You have worked for at least five years
- Start- and end date of your employment(s)
- The extent of work expressed in total hours, total days, or percentages of a 1-year full time equivalent
- The certificate(s) must be dated and signed by the employer (for example by a manager or by Human Resources)
At least 30 ECTS completed in higher education in the area of Social Sciences
To verify this, transcript(s) from a recognized higher education institution must be submitted that shows:
- Which courses were taken
- The grades of each course approved
- The transcript(s) must be dated, signed and issued by the school
With a degree from the International Management programme at JIBS you have an excellent foundation for starting your own business or pursuing an international career as business developer, financial assistant, junior analyst, marketing coordinator, salesperson, product manager, brand manager, account manager/key account manager/service manager, marketing assistant, export manager, or project leader.
