Developed in response to industry demands, this Master in Electric Engineering is crafted in collaboration with leading companies, providing real-world relevance. In this one-year Master in electric engineering - programme you will develop an understanding of electric vehicles or electric power systems. Your programme will cover the main aspects of design, testing and development within electric vehicles or electric power engineering, with electric engineering as the foundation.

Subjects

Master in electric engineering, 60 credits, is a one-year program which includes two dedicated paths:

  • Electric Vehicles
  • Electric Power Systems

The specific path gives you a unique in-depth knowledge, which the industry today has an urgent need for.

    Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

    Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.

    • ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi.

    • Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.

    Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

    Išlaikyti vieną iš šių testų:

    • IELTS - 6.5 (ir ne mažiau 5.5 iš kiekvienos dalies).
    • TOEFL - 90 (ir ne mažiau 20 iš rašymo) 
    Svarbūs reikalavimai

    Bachelor of Science in electric engineering or equivalent. Additionally the Bachelor of Science degree must be comprised of a minimum of 3 HE credits in programming and 15 HE credits in mathematics. 

    Your programme prepares you for the current and future needs of industry, where electric engineers with specialized within electric vehicles and electric power engineering are required.

    Companies are also looking for engineers with international interpersonal skills to improve effectiveness in global operations – an additional component of this programme. On graduation, you will be highly competitive for positions within the private sector or further advanced studies.

In addition, multinational companies such as Polestar and Volvo Cars, as well as VOLVO AB and CEVT, are located near University West.
