As a graduate in sustainable energy technology, you will design and develop solutions for the safe, affordable, and sustainable production of electricity and heat. You will work on real-world energy systems, helping to advance the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
There are roughly three scenarios for the development of future energy solutions: renewable energy sources (solar, wind, and wave power, hydropower, and bioenergy), safe nuclear power, and carbon capture and use. As a graduate of this programme, you will build a career at the forefront of energy technologies. The field suits students who are interested in technology and want to apply mathematics and natural sciences to real-world problems.
Most of your studies take place on campus during weekdays. Occasional online courses, as well as courses combining online and on-campus teaching, provide variety and flexibility to your study methods and schedule.

In your studies, you will become familiar with the production, transmission, distribution and use of energy. You will get comprehensive basic information about energy production methods, such as solar, wind, and thermal technologies, as well as their operation and safety.
Your education will combine technology and science: mathematics, physics, and chemistry. You will learn to master the techniques associated with energy production and apply them to problem-solving. You will learn to convert natural energy resources such as water, wind, or biomass into sustainable energy for human consumption as efficiently as possible.
By the end of the programme, you will be able to apply basic thermal engineering equations to the examination of energy conversion processes and describe the structure and operation of energy technology equipment (boilers, turbines, compressors, fans, heat exchangers).
The programme's main themes are energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. Nuclear power and, above all, nuclear safety will play an important role in the transition to fully renewable energy production. In Finland, studies in nuclear safety are only offered at LUT University.

Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą. Smulkesnę informaciją kaip pildyti išrašą ir kada jis reikalingas, rasi čia. Pageidaujamas pažymių vidurkis turi būti ne mažiau 7.
Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą

Svarbu. Jei stoji su 11 kl. pažymiais, svarbu, kad ir brandos atestate pažymiai būtų ne mažesnis.
Pažymių reikalavimai yra orientaciniai ir galutinį vertinimą ar turimų pažymių pakanka atliks LUT universiteto priėmimo komisija.
SVARBU! Anglų testo sertifikatas turi būti atsiųstas kartu su stojimo anketa iki stojimo deadlino.

IELTS Academic or IELTS Online – 6.5 (ne mažiau 6.0 iš rašymo ir kalbėjimo dalių)
TOEFL iBT & TOEFL iBT Home Edition - 90 (ne mažiau 22 iš rašymo ir kalbėjimo dalių ). TOEFL testo rezultatai privalo būti nusiųsti tiesiogiai iš centro, kuriame laikei testą, LUT universiteto kodas, kurį reikia nurodyti yra 0496).
Visi stojantieji turi pateikti mokyklos užpildytą ir pasirašytą matematikos programos dokumentą. Norėdami rasti ir atsisiųsti šį dokumentą reikia:

Pradėti pildyti Kastu internetinę stojimo anketą;
Pridėti bent vieną LUT bakalauro programą prie savo pasirinkimų.
