Software Technology Engineering
Do you want to work with Internet of Things, Interactive Media or Data Engineering? The Software Technology Engineering Bachelor's Degree programme provides you with the skills and knowledge needed to develop and manage software systems.
At the Software Technology Engineering programme, you will learn to develop software from scratch. You will start with courses in programming, web development and software design, and later on your also get to work with algorithms, Dev Ops, machine learning and embedded programming. Throughout the programme, your skills will be developed through project work and basic subjects in engineering.
Once you have developed an allround skillset, you are able to choose a specialisation. Here you can work in depth with e.g. XR-technologies, web technologies, artificial intelligence and business oriented IT-systems.
Shortly put: You will learn to design, develop and operate software that makes a difference - and you will be ready to work with the newest technologies and methods in the industry.
In addition, all our engineering programmes have a special focus on sustainability, digitalisation and innovation as well as entrepreneurship. We work continuously with these concepts throughout the study programme and they are integrated in the teaching, projects and the internship.

Furthermore, at all VIA’s engineering programmes, we have independently from which field you are enrolled at, a focus on sustainability, digitalisation, innovation and entrepreneurship. These are fundamental elements, which we are working with during the entire programme and it will be naturally implemented in the lessons, projects during the semesters and internships.

Vienu iš šių būdų galite patvirtinti universitetui savo anglų kalbos žinias:
- Anglų kalbos valandos - bendras išklausytas anglų kalbos valandų skaičius 10 + 11 + 12 klasėje būtų bent 210 valandų (1 valanda = 60 minučių, t. y. astronominė valanda) bei anglų kalbos pažymys ne mažesnis kaip 6;
- TOEFL - 83
- IELTS - 6.5
- Anglų kalba - bendras išklausytų valandų skaičius turi būti 210 val.
- Matematika - bendras išklausytų valandų skaičius turi būti 375 val.
- Fizika - bendras išklausytų valandų skaičius turi būti 190 val.
Svarbu! Šių dalykų pažymys turi būti nemažesnis nei 6.

At VIA, we educate engineers in close collaboration with the industry. VIA Career Service Centre
VIA University College is already making a huge effort to help international students find internships and jobs in Denmark. For several years, our Career Service Centre has been offering VIA students help and guidance in searching for jobs and internships in Denmark by offering workshops on “how to write a CV”,or “how to write an application”. The Centre also organizes company dating – a campus fair where students get to meet a lot of Danish companies to hear more about career opportunities. The Career Service Centre is currently intensifying these activities in response to both the Ministry’s and VIA’s wish for international students to remain in Denmark after graduation. We will be offering graduates even more events and opportunities to meet the companies, just as the opening hours at the Career Service Centre have been extended and more seminars will be held. We want our international students to experience that access to the Danish companies and to the Danish labour market will be even easier in the future.
