Global Law
Learn to look beyond borders and the limits of a single judicial system. Compare legal problems and solutions from a variety of jurisdictions by combining different legal systems. Tackle global legal challenges and situate the law in a broader social and economic context. With the LLB Global Law, you become the linking pin in cross-border cases involving various players, such as governments, organizations, banks and NGOs.
You will be educated to become a legal advisor adept at dealing with legal questions that go further than a single national legal system. In this program, you learn to comparatively identify legal problems and solutions from a variety of jurisdictions, with a focus on trans-jurisdictional developments. You will get a solid foundation in legal training, such as contract, criminal, tort, administrative, property, and constitutional law and apply your knowledge to concrete legal problems of global complexity.
The program teaches all of the main legal topics found in traditional legal education, such as contract law, tort law, criminal law, administrative law, property law, and constitutional law. What makes Global Law unique, however, is that these topics are approached from a global perspective. Our curriculum is designed to prepare you for legal work in settings where multiple legal systems come together.

- Vienas iš stojimo etapų į Tilburg University yra Matching/Selection procedure (reikės atlikti arba papildomas užduotis, arba pateikti papildomus dokumentus arba sudalyvauti interviu).
SVARBU: anglų kalbos testo sertifikatą privaloma pateikti kartu su visais dokumentais, atsiunčiant anketą. Universitetas nesvarsto stojimo anketų be anglų kalbos testo rezultatų, todėl sertifikatą privaloma pateikti iki stojimo pabaigos. Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
- IELTS – 6.0, iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau nei 5.5
- TOEFL – 80
- CV- stojant į visas programas reikia pateikti savo gyvenimo aprašymą.
Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti ir Statement of Education. Dokumentą privalo užpildyti ir antspauduoti mokyklos atstovas. Norėdami rasti ir atsisiųsti Statement of Education reikia:
- Užsiregistruoti Kastu svetainėje;
- Pradėti pildyti Kastu internetinę stojimo anketą;
- Pridėti dominančią Tilburg University bakalauro programą prie savo pasirinkimų.

What can you do with a Global Law LLB degree?
- As a legal counsel at an international firm, you will deal with all legal aspects of business operations. You advise in the areas of contracts, laws and regulation issues. As well as checking contracts, you could also be responsible for writing them.
- As a compliance analyst, you will check whether organizations comply with government and industry regulations. You will research policy and prescriptions, communicate requirements and request certification for organizations.
Graduates found work at NATO, the European Parliament, the International Criminal Court, Hogan Lovells (a global law firm), Meta, the Business & Human Rights Resource Center (an NGO based in London) and Follow This (an NGO in the financial markets).
Possible jobs Global Law
After obtaining a Bachelor's degree, most students choose to pursue a Master's of Laws in the Netherlands or abroad. Graduates find employment in legal departments of large corporations, begin traineeships in global law firms or in consultancies, or they start their own businesses. Numerous graduates of the Global Law Bachelor have proceeded to work in NGOs or transnational organizations, such as the European Union, NATO or the UN. Many of our graduates also participate in internships after graduation in corporations, the civil society sector or international organizations as they try out different career paths. Because of the interdisciplinary character and the focus on skills in this program, you are well prepared to become a key figure, a link between legal departments and financial, technical or innovation experts in firms and organizations.
