In the one-year MSc Economics in Groningen, we teach you to develop an analytical mindset, and use data to study and assess economic policies: in short, you learn to keep a cool head when it comes to making decisions for important social problems. What are some of the key areas we focus on?

Applicants have to prove their English language skills either by an internationally recognized language test or upon previous studies. Usually English language skills can be proved by the following documents:

- Secondary education completed in English in a country or school qualification accepted by the university

To be eligible for admission to this Master, you need to hold an academic Bachelor's or Master's degree from a research university in one of the following - or closely related - fields: Economics and Business Economics, Econometrics and Operations Research.
Checklist including brief description (max. 20 pages) of relevant courses you have taken in the field of the specific Master programme you are applying for, and of any courses in research methods and statistics. Course descriptions must include a description of topics covered in the course, learning objectives and a literature list of the course book(s) used in each course.
