About the programme

Developments in ICT happen at lightning speed. New products continue to be useful, but can also quickly become obsolete. This is why we offer you both solid basic knowledge and specialisation. You decide for yourself what you’d like to specialise in. Our teaching is as closely linked to practice as possible, which is why we have strong partnerships with over 120 renowned companies. After graduation, you’ll have all the knowledge and skills you need to function well in any ICT profession.

What you will learn

As an ICT professional, you need to be flexible and keep up with the latest developments. You have to think ahead, be creative and be an expert in your ICT specialisation. HBO-ICT gives you all the tools you need to achieve this.

Study structure and curriculum

When making your application for B-HBO-ICT it means that your first 12 weeks of education you do an orientation on all 5 main (above-mentioned) study programmes. After the first 12 weeks you choose 1 of the main study programmes.

• Mostly, classes are held in open areas, everyone can come to listen, to watch a presentation and teachers even encourage that younger students would come to listen the presentations of the older students.
• Previously students had to choose one of the 5 specialties in the first year and it was hard for students, who were not sure what they want to choose. But now, in the first-year students are introduced with each specialty, the teachers explain in detail what the specialty is about and only then students have to make a choice.
• Students with no IT knowledge will also like and succeed in this program because it’s super wide: a student can orientate more in business or other subspecialties, so it’s definitely not only programming and work with the computers.
• Newly built building for ICT students.
• In the ICT building they have rooms for filming, audio room to record. Every building has ISSD stations at which students can rent for free the equipment they need for their projects, like f. e. google glasses, apple products.
• There is even a room for students to cut something with a laser and other technical equipment that students can use freely for their own purposes.
